ICHOR Systems is seeking a meticulous Accounting Support professional to join our finance team on a contract basis in Shah Alam, Selangor. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who can help maintain accurate financial records and support daily accounting operations. You will report to the Finance Manager and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant processing of financial data.
As an Accounting Support specialist, you will enter financial transactions into our internal databases with precision, process expense reports and reimbursements, and reconcile invoices to ensure accurate postings. You will assist with accounts payable tasks, maintain organized documentation, and support month end close activities. The role offers hands on experience in a growing tech-focused company while developing your accounting knowledge and professional skills.

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor. Salary: RM 2,500 – RM 3,000 per month. This is a contract/temporary position with potential for extension based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Enter daily financial transactions into internal databases with accuracy and timeliness.
- Process expense reports and reimbursements in accordance with company policy.
- Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies to ensure correct postings.
- Assist with accounts payable tasks, vendor setup, and document filing.
- Support month end close activities and maintain organized accounting records.
- Collaborate with finance and cross functional teams to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with internal controls.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in Shah Alam, Selangor locale.
