Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system
- Process and verify invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts
- Assist in preparing monthly bank reconciliations and ledger entries
- Maintain and update accounts payable and receivable records
- Support the finance team with month-end closing tasks and reporting
- Organise and file financial documents for audit and compliance
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments on billing inquiries
- Handle other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome; no prior experience required
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debits/credits, double-entry)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and office software (Word, Outlook)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Immediate availability or short notice is an advantage
