In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining financial integrity for our clients. You will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and delivering high-quality financial reporting. We are looking for an individual who is not only technically proficient in accounting software but also excels in client communication and process management. Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts for a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports.
- Handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Coordinate with clients regarding financial documentation, deadlines, and project timelines.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns and corporate tax computations.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff members (depending on seniority level).
- Ensure all financial records comply with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA).
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a service firm environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory reporting standards in Singapore.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar platforms).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with diverse clients.
- Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
