Responsibilities
- Manage full-set accounts including AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts for review by management.
- Assist in the computation and filing of corporate income tax and GST/SST compliance.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial and tax-related documentation.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant government authorities (LHDN/Customs) when necessary.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury management tasks.
- Support payroll processing and statutory contribution filings (EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting or tax role.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian Accounting Standards and Tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or UBS) is highly preferred.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting strict deadlines.
