Responsibilities

  • Manage full-spectrum accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, monthly reports, and year-end closing activities
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management to ensure financial accuracy
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims in a timely manner
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of departmental expenditures
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods and provide necessary documentation
  • Maintain organized financial records and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Sage, or similar ERP systems)
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations (GST, SST, and income tax)
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data entry
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Professional certification (LCCI, MICPA, or ACCA) is an added advantage
  • Good communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus for stakeholder interactions
