Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Oversee daily finance operations and bank reconciliation activities
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for stakeholder review
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards (MFRS) and tax regulations
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional qualifications like ACCA/CIMA are advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in full-set accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of Malaysian financial regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment
