Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting operations including data entry, verification, and filing of financial transactions.
  • Manage full set of accounts, covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist in cash flow monitoring, invoice processing, and payment runs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies during external audits and tax filings.
  • Support budget preparation and variance analysis to aid management decisions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in handling full set of accounts and familiarity with MFRS.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, or UBS) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of SST, corporate tax, and payroll processing is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet tight deadlines.
