Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and sub-ledgers with precision and accuracy
- Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Process payments, invoices, and ensure timely settlement of payables and receivables
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Monitor and process employee expenses, reimbursements, and petty cash transactions
- Coordinate and execute stock take procedures, maintaining accurate inventory records
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Handle ad-hoc finance tasks and provide support to the Finance Manager as required
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting roles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP; experience with Microsoft Excel is essential
- Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and GST regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume transactions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Prior experience in inventory or stock management will be an added advantage
