Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Process and verify vessel-related expenses, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Reconcile bank statements and inter-company transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury management activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards and maritime financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the maritime, shipping, or logistics sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, SAP, MYOB) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners.
