DeGem Masterpiece Sdn Bhd, a leading luxury jeweler, is seeking a meticulous Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team in Bangsar Baru, Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting management with timely reporting.
You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain robust internal controls, streamline processes, and contribute to the company’s continued growth in Malaysia’s vibrant luxury market.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in line with Malaysian accounting standards (MFRS).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and collections.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST and corporate tax filings.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and clarification.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a retail or luxury goods environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Professional qualification (e.g., LCCI, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
