Responsibilities
- Process and verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Execute timely payments via bank transfers, cheques, or electronic payment platforms.
- Maintain and reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable ledger.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals and provisions.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
- Generate AP ageing reports and support cash flow forecasting.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice matching, and payment processing.
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Singapore GST and statutory reporting requirements is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
