This role is ideal for a Singaporean professional who excels in managing end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions in a fast-paced environment.

As an Accounts Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial accuracy and operational efficiency of the organization. Responsibilities

  • Manage the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) duties, including verification of invoices and timely payment processing.
  • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate billing and proactive monitoring of outstanding payments.
  • Perform daily data entry and maintenance of financial records in the accounting system.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
  • Support the finance team with audit schedules and preparation of financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Singaporean nationality is required for this role.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role, preferably with exposure to AR and AP.
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/LCCI).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel for reporting and data management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with the airfreight or logistics industry is considered a significant advantage.
