In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Singapore’s regulatory standards. With a competitive salary package of up to $4,500 per month, this position offers both professional growth and financial reward.
Key aspects of the role include managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly financial statements. You will also play a key role in GST/VAT filings and assist in the preparation of annual budgets and audits.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sets of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle GST/VAT submissions and ensure full compliance with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during year-end audits.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and perform monthly asset verification.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist in budget preparation processes.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in full sets accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong integrity and professional work ethic.
