Smarthire by SEEK is partnering with CONINCO TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. to recruit an experienced Accounts Executive/Manager to strengthen their finance team in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS and local regulations.
- Oversee cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and petty cash operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure smooth audit processes.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings (GST/SST, income tax) and liaise with tax authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in a technology or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
