We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Intern to join our dedicated accounting team in Boon Keng. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Help with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify transaction accuracy.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, variance analyses, and management packs.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents, both electronic and paper.
- Support internal and external audit preparations by providing required schedules and documentation.
- Participate in ad‑hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
- Strong numerical accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Good organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
