Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payment advice, debit notes, and credit notes efficiently.
- Liaise effectively with customers to resolve payment queries and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams in their daily operational tasks.
- Perform accurate data entry, filing, and maintenance of comprehensive financial records.
- Participate in the reconciliation of bank statements and various general ledger accounts.
- Contribute to the preparation of basic financial reports and supporting documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as required.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy and strong organizational skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, eager to learn, and possessing a strong work ethic.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for the specified period.
