Job Description
Join Ideahouse Corporation Sdn Bhd as an Accounts Manager and take ownership of the company’s numbers from end to end. This role provides direct access to senior management and visibility into key business drivers, enabling you to influence strategic decisions with accurate financial insight.
As the Accounts Manager, you will lead month end close, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and ensure strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. You will manage cash flow, overseeing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliation processes while driving process improvements that boost efficiency and accuracy.
Working closely with department heads, you will consolidate financial data, monitor performance against budget, and prepare insightful management reports. You will coordinate audits, maintain robust accounting policies, and support statutory compliance and tax matters. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information in clear terms to non financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Lead end to end accounting processes including month end close, financial statements, and management reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, IFRS / Local GAAP, and strong internal controls; coordinate audits.
- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and variance analysis for management.
- Collaborate with department heads to interpret financial data and support strategic decision making.
- Maintain documented accounting policies and procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Provide leadership or cross functional support to finance and admin teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in Malaysia or similar markets.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax, statutory requirements, and IFRS / Local GAAP.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MYOB, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present insights to non financial stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Detail oriented with high level of integrity and strong problem solving abilities.
