You will collaborate closely with outlet managers and the finance team to prepare reconciliations, manage filing systems, and assist with audit and tax preparations. In addition to core accounting duties, you will contribute to process improvements, support month‑end close activities, and help ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including recording sales, expenses, and outlet transactions.
- Process payments to vendors and manage accounts payable/receivable cycles.
- Oversee outlet cash collections and ensure timely banking of revenues.
- Prepare monthly bank and inter‑company reconciliations.
- Maintain organized filing of financial documents and support audit preparations.
- Assist with tax computations, filing, and compliance matters under supervision.
- Support month‑end closing activities and generate routine financial reports.
- liaise with outlet staff to resolve accounting queries and improve financial processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounts officer role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL, QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic tax regulations and audit procedures is advantageous.
