Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Officer to join our finance team at Palm Mach based in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our growing company. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

This is a full-time position offering a salary between RM 3,200 and RM 4,000 per month, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and records
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
- Coordinate with external auditors during periodic audits
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide financial analysis and insights to management as needed
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount) and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with SST and Malaysian tax regulations preferred
