Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, and entry into the ERP system.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices in accordance with company policy and local tax regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors in both Korean and English to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements and investigate any outstanding balances.
- Support the month-end closing process by providing necessary AP accruals and reports.
- Monitor and track payment due dates, ensuring all invoices are paid within agreed terms to maintain excellent vendor relations.
- Assist in the improvement of AP workflows and internal control documentation to drive process efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting functions.
- Native or business-level fluency in Korean (written and spoken) is strictly required.
- Proficiency in English for reporting and cross-departmental communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience working with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
