Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection processes.
- Manage credit risk by evaluating client creditworthiness and setting appropriate credit limits.
- Lead and mentor the AR team to ensure high productivity and adherence to company financial policies.
- Prepare comprehensive aging reports and conduct monthly reconciliations to track collection performance.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Operations departments to resolve billing discrepancies and collection issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and enhance cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and accounting standards in relation to receivables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA license is a significant advantage).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit & Collections, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle sensitive collection matters professionally.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
