AF Energy Centre Enterprise is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Aircond Technician Intern. This internship offers a hands‑on learning experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air‑conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. You will work alongside experienced technicians, receive a monthly allowance, meals provided, and overtime pay as per company policy. This is an excellent opportunity to build practical skills, gain industry knowledge, and kick‑start your career in the HVAC trade.
During the internship, you will be exposed to real‑world projects, learn to diagnose faults, perform routine servicing, and assist in system installations. Safety standards and quality workmanship are emphasized throughout the program. Successful interns may be considered for full‑time positions based on performance and company needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of split, window, and central air‑conditioning units.
- Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing of HVAC equipment.
- Help troubleshoot system faults, replace faulty components, and conduct performance tests.
- Prepare tools, equipment, and materials needed for each job site.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and service vehicles.
- Document work performed and update service reports under supervision.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a certificate/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of air‑conditioning principles and refrigeration cycles.
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands‑on, outdoor environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift equipment up to 25 kg.
- Basic communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
- Possess a valid motorcycle licence (or willingness to obtain) for site travel.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
