Cornerstone Global Partners is currently seeking a vigilant and reliable Airport Security Officer to safeguard one of the world’s leading aviation hubs – Changi Airport. In this permanent role, you will be at the forefront of maintaining a secure environment for passengers, staff, and assets, ensuring compliance with aviation security regulations and delivering exceptional service.
You will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to any security incidents or alarms. Working closely with airport authorities, law enforcement, and internal teams, you will help uphold the highest standards of safety while facilitating smooth passenger flow. Your duties will include operating screening equipment, maintaining detailed logs, and reporting any irregularities.
This position offers shift-based hours, competitive compensation up to $3,400 per month, and attractive bonuses including an Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) and performance-based incentives. Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter secure zones.
- Conduct routine patrols and inspections of terminal areas, checking for suspicious items or behavior.
- Respond swiftly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with law enforcement and airport authorities.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs, documenting all observations and actions taken.
- Provide excellent customer service, guiding passengers and staff while upholding safety standards.
- Perform security equipment checks, including X‑ray machines, metal detectors, and CCTV systems, reporting any malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of GCE ‘N’ level or equivalent education.
- At least 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field; airport experience is an advantage.
- Possess a valid Singapore Security Officer Licence (or ability to obtain).
- Strong observational skills, with the ability to detect unusual behavior and respond calmly under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Physically fit to perform patrol duties, stand for extended periods, and lift moderate loads.
