Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial automation workflows to reduce manual input and errors.
- Reconcile complex bank records and maintain high standards of financial data integrity.
- Review and manage commercial contracts from a financial compliance perspective.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payment processes and cash flow management.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and enforce financial controls to mitigate operational and fiscal risks.
- Act as a key point of contact for external audits and regulatory compliance filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or management accounting.
- Strong technical proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or ERP systems).
- Demonstrated experience in implementing or managing automated finance workflows.
- Advanced Excel skills and a high degree of comfort with data analytics.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong understanding of local tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements in Malaysia.
