Responsibilities

  • Manage the full spectrum of financial and management accounting functions for the Singapore entity.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead inventory accounting and cost analysis specifically for engine spare parts and maintenance services.
  • Ensure full compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), GST, and corporate tax regulations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including accounts receivable and accounts payable oversight.
  • Evaluate and improve internal control systems and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as CA Singapore, ACCA, or CPA is highly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with some exposure to a supervisory role.
  • Prior experience in the maintenance, engineering, or trading of industrial spare parts is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Navision) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Singapore tax laws and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders across different departments.
