Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of financial and management accounting functions for the Singapore entity.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Lead inventory accounting and cost analysis specifically for engine spare parts and maintenance services.
- Ensure full compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), GST, and corporate tax regulations.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including accounts receivable and accounts payable oversight.
- Evaluate and improve internal control systems and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as CA Singapore, ACCA, or CPA is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with some exposure to a supervisory role.
- Prior experience in the maintenance, engineering, or trading of industrial spare parts is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Navision) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Singapore tax laws and statutory reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders across different departments.
