Responsibilities

  • Lead daily mill operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production aligned with demand.
  • Plan and manage production scheduling, capacity utilization, and downtime reduction.
  • Monitor KPIs (throughput, yield, waste, OEE) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance and asset reliability to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to uphold GMP/HACCP standards and product quality.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate shift teams; manage staffing, training, and performance reviews.
  • Drive cost control, energy efficiency, and process optimization across the mill.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Process Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of production or milling leadership experience, preferably in FMCG or food processing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Solid knowledge of GMP, HACCP, safety regulations; problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with production planning software/ERP and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends if required; hands-on approach.
  • Continuous improvement mindset; Lean/Six Sigma training is a plus.
