Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough internal and external audits to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and analyzing financial statements for discrepancies.
- Assisting in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for management review.
- Identifying areas for process improvement to enhance internal control frameworks and operational efficiency.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate seamless audit processes.
- Monitoring daily financial transactions and ensuring they align with company policies and accounting standards.
- Preparing periodic management reports and providing insightful analysis on financial health.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA track).
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in audit or general accounting functions.
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Xero, or MYOB).
- Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor.
