Responsibilities
- Plan and execute audit engagements in accordance with professional standards and firm methodology.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and relevant regulations.
- Identify and assess key risks, internal control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and feedback.
- Liaise with clients to obtain necessary documentation and resolve audit queries.
- Prepare detailed audit documentation and workpapers for manager and partner review.
- Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, tax laws, and industry developments.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA Singapore, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of audit experience for Associate; 3-5 years for Senior position.
- Strong understanding of SFRS, SSAs, and Singapore tax regulations.
- Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare, AuditFile) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
