Responsibilities
- Conduct regular financial and operational audits to ensure full compliance with company policies and local tax laws.
- Perform inventory audits and reconciliations to track raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Assess internal controls within the manufacturing workflow to identify potential risks and operational bottlenecks.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings and recommending actionable process improvements to management.
- Coordinate with different departments to verify documentation accuracy and financial reporting compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate adherence to GAAP and relevant regulatory accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (CPA licensure is a strong advantage).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing or general accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and data integrity.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR compliance, and local financial regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex audit findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
