Responsibilities
- Perform regular audits of operational, purchasing, and accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Verify and reconcile physical inventory against system records to identify discrepancies.
- Monitor procurement processes to ensure all purchases are authorized and aligned with company budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of internal audit reports and present findings to management.
- Conduct periodic spot checks on cash handling and financial transactions.
- Identify potential risks or control gaps and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with department heads to resolve discrepancies and implement process improvements.
- Maintain organized documentation of audit findings and supporting evidence for future reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or any related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in internal audit, general accounting, or inventory control.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, professional skepticism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to work on-site in South Caloocan, Metro Manila.
