Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on AV Technician to join our dynamic team at Motion Media Works. In this role, you will be at the heart of every event we deliver, responsible for the setup, operation, and breakdown of professional audio, video, and lighting systems. From corporate conferences and live performances to trade shows and private functions, you will ensure that every production runs smoothly and meets the highest technical standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about event technology and eager to grow. You will work alongside experienced engineers and coordinators, gaining exposure to a wide range of equipment and workflows. We value initiative and a strong work ethic, and we provide clear pathways for you to progress into independent technical leadership roles, such as Lead Technician or Technical Manager.
Your daily work will involve preparing equipment in the warehouse, loading trucks, traveling to venues across the Central Region, and setting up systems according to detailed event plans. During live operations, you will manage audio mixing, video switching, lighting control, and troubleshooting on the fly. After each event, you will assist with dismantling and inventory checks. Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential in this fast-paced environment.
If you are a proactive learner who enjoys solving technical challenges and delivering memorable experiences for clients, we encourage you to apply. Join Motion Media Works and turn every event into a showcase of excellence.
