Negros Women For Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Lipa City, Batangas. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for assigned branches, ensuring that all transactions are recorded correctly and in compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards. You will prepare monthly financial reports, assist the Accounting Officer in the preparation of year‑end statements, and support audit activities by providing reliable documentation. The position requires proficiency with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks or Sage, advanced Excel skills, and a strong eye for detail. You will also monitor accounts payable and receivable, process payroll entries, and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis. Effective communication with branch managers and other departments is essential to resolve discrepancies and provide timely financial insights. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review branch financial statements and reports on a monthly basis.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy by recording all financial transactions promptly.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure cash balances are correct.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Assist with payroll processing and statutory remittances.
- Support the Accounting Officer during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards and company policies.
- Generate ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports for management decision‑making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a non‑profit or multi‑branch environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Accounting Standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
