Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and within deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Ensure all financial data is recorded in compliance with local and international accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies or discrepancies found.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for all financial documents and invoices.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide insights on budget variances and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, or similar role, preferably within the real estate or property management industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
