Job Description

Join the pioneering team at a brand‑new brewery set to open at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). As a Brewer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting high‑quality beers that delight guests and elevate the venue’s beverage offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch phase, shape brewing processes, and contribute to a vibrant hospitality destination in Singapore’s premier leisure precinct.

You will work closely with senior brewers and operations staff to ensure consistent product quality, maintain stringent hygiene standards, and support the development of innovative recipes tailored to the local market. The role blends hands‑on brewing expertise with collaborative teamwork in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

If you are passionate about brewing, eager to learn, and thrive in a startup‑like atmosphere within an established entertainment complex, we invite you to apply and help us pour the first perfect pint.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute brewing batches according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
  • Monitor fermentation, conditioning, and maturation processes to ensure optimal flavor development.
  • Conduct routine quality control tests (gravity, pH, turbidity, alcohol content) and adjust parameters as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of brewing equipment, vessels, and work areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in the receipt, storage, and inventory management of raw materials such as malt, hops, yeast, and adjuncts.
  • Support the development and testing of new beer styles and seasonal releases.
  • Collaborate with packaging and service teams to ensure seamless transfer of product to kegs, cans, or bottles.
  • Participate in staff training, safety briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on brewing experience in a commercial or craft brewery setting.
  • Solid understanding of brewing science, fermentation technology, and quality assurance practices.
  • Proficiency with brewing equipment (mash tuns, fermenters, bright tanks, heat exchangers) and basic troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards (CIP/SIP) and occupational health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to lift heavy bags (up to 25 kg) and work comfortably in a warm, humid environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, good record‑keeping skills, and a proactive mindset.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities; comfortable working in a multicultural setting.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., IBD General Certificate in Brewing, Brewery Engineering) are a plus.
