Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety equipment.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in equipment, fixtures, and building infrastructure promptly.
- Conduct basic carpentry, painting, and plastering work as needed for unit turnovers and general upkeep.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls (e.g., water leaks, power outages) within the property after hours.
- Maintain maintenance logs, inventory of supplies, and report major issues to the property manager.
- Assist in supervising and coordinating external contractors for specialized repairs or renovations.
- Ensure all work areas comply with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide on-site support for tenant move-ins, move-outs, and special events as required.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related trade.
- Hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to stay on-site during scheduled work days (accommodation provided).
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in various conditions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work orders and inventory.
