Responsibilities
- Source and procure electronic components, PCBs, and raw materials required for manufacturing, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and maintain quality standards.
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and resolve supply issues to minimize disruptions.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock and avoid shortages or excess.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify alternative components and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier documentation in ERP systems.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new supplier capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, and international trade regulations.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience as a Buyer or Purchasing professional in the PCBA or Electronics Manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, semiconductors, passives, connectors, and PCB fabrication processes.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) – ability to communicate with local and international suppliers.
