Carpenter / Installer required for Private Advertiser in Pendang, Kedah. This full-time role focuses on crafting custom furniture and cabinetry for residential and commercial spaces. As a Carpenter / Installer, you will transform blueprints and technical drawings into high-quality wood components. Responsibilities include selecting materials, cutting, shaping, and assembling components, fitting cabinets, countertops, doors, and other fittings, and ensuring precise alignment and secure installations both in the workshop and on-site. You will also handle finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, sealing, and applying protective finishes to achieve durable and beautiful results.

Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine accurate dimensions and materials.
- Cut, shape, assemble, fit, and install wood components for custom furniture and cabinetry.
- Construct and install kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, countertops, doors, and fixtures, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, staining, sealing, and finishing to achieve durable, high-quality finishes.
- Measure with care, verify tolerances, and adjust as needed to meet project specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment, organize the workshop, and adhere to safety policies.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and on-site teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide on-site installation support and post-installation adjustments as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter with cabinet making or installation background.
- Proficiency with woodworking tools and machinery (saws, planers, routers, sanders, drills).
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings; strong measurement and geometry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good physical stamina, dexterity, and the ability to lift heavy materials; capable of working in varied environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; customer-service orientation for on-site projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and proper use of PPE; commitment to safe work practices.
- Formal training in carpentry or related vocational program is a plus.
