Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
  • Proactively contact customers via telephone, email, and other communication channels to facilitate payment collection.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlement options while adhering to company policies and debt recovery regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes effectively to minimize payment barriers.
  • Escalate unresolved or delinquent accounts to senior management according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile accounts and verify payment statuses.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly collection targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM/Diploma or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in debt collection, customer service, or telemarketing is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage).
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and database management software.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and handle high-volume call traffic.
  • High level of integrity, professional maturity, and ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Available to work flexible hours if required to meet operational objectives.
