DFI Retail Group, a leading retail organization in Singapore, is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team. You will partner closely with senior leadership, category managers, and cross‑functional teams to deliver robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Your analytical expertise will support strategic decision‑making, ranging from pricing tactics to promotional ROI analysis, ensuring that DFI Retail Group maintains its competitive edge in the rapidly evolving retail market.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of annual budgets, long‑term financial plans, and quarterly forecasts aligned with business objectives.
- Perform detailed financial analysis of sales, margins, and cost structures to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights.
- Partner with commercial and category teams to evaluate promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and new product introductions.
- Drive the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages for senior leadership.
- Implement and maintain financial models and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to monitor KPIs and support decision‑making.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure consistent reporting standards and share best practices.
- Mentor and develop junior finance staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Support internal audit processes and ensure compliance with financial controls and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or CFA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, commercial finance, or business partnering within a retail or FMCG environment.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, Power BI, and SAP (or similar ERP systems); experience with TM1 or Anaplan is advantageous.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of presenting to executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading or supporting cross‑functional projects is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax environment is desirable.
