Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in the daily production of breads, pastries, and desserts.
  • Ensure all workstations are kept clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Accurately measure and prepare ingredients according to standardized recipes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages to the supervisor.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for all baked goods and pastry items.
  • Operate professional kitchen equipment such as industrial mixers, ovens, and proofers safely.
  • Participate in team meetings to review production goals and performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or pastry environment.
  • Strong passion for baking and a keen eye for detail in food presentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Disciplined work ethic with a strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
