Asia Brewery Incorporated is seeking a diligent Compliance Specialist to join its Metro Manila team. In this role, you will ensure that all sales offices adhere to the company's internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. You will conduct regular audits, monitor compliance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex compliance concepts clearly. You will also prepare compliance reports for senior management, stay updated on changes in local and international regulations, and provide training to sales personnel on compliance procedures. Your proactive approach will help safeguard the company's reputation and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic compliance audits of sales offices to verify adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyse compliance data to detect trends, anomalies, and potential risk areas.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and updating compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Coordinate with legal and regulatory bodies to ensure the company meets all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to sales teams on compliance-related inquiries and issues.
- Track implementation of corrective actions and verify closure of audit findings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities in accordance with record‑keeping standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, or regulatory affairs.
- Solid knowledge of Philippine regulatory environment and international compliance standards.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Certification such as CPA, CIA, or similar is a plus.
