Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content (text, images, videos) to ensure compliance with platform policies and community guidelines.
- Identify and escalate harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content while maintaining high accuracy and consistency.
- Document decisions and provide detailed feedback for continuous improvement of moderation processes.
- Collaborate with team leads and other departments to refine content policies and workflows.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Monitor trends and flag emerging issues to proactively mitigate risks.
- Meet daily quality and productivity targets in a non-voice, chat/ticket-based environment.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on policy changes and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle policy violations.
- Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or office setting.
- Comfortable handling repetitive tasks and maintaining focus for extended periods.
- Resilience and emotional stability when exposed to potentially disturbing content.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with content management tools or ticketing systems is a plus.
- Willingness to work shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
