Private Advertiser is seeking a motivated Cost Accountant to play a pivotal role in driving healthcare cost efficiency at our Iloilo City location. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate cost accounting records, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic insights that support operational excellence across our healthcare services.
You will work closely with finance, clinical, and administrative teams to develop cost models, monitor expense trends, and identify opportunities for savings without compromising quality of care. By producing timely and detailed cost reports, you will help leadership make informed decisions that enhance profitability and sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, ensuring accurate product and service costing.
- Perform variance analysis to identify causes of cost fluctuations and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with budget owners to forecast expenses, track budget adherence, and support resource planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, including trend analysis and KPI tracking.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2â4 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and cost accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problemâsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for crossâfunctional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fastâpaced environment.
