Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain standard costs for all inventory items related to kitchen equipment and machinery.
- Perform detailed month-end closing processes, including inventory valuation, COGS analysis, and margin reporting.
- Monitor and analyze variances between actual costs and standard costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure accurate inventory cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key cost performance indicators.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Maintain compliance with internal financial controls and accounting standards (PFRS/IFRS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (CPA license is a significant advantage).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically for financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of inventory accounting principles and cost management techniques.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
