In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our financial operational health, ensuring that our food and beverage costs are managed with precision, transparency, and compliance.
As our Cost Controller, you will be responsible for implementing robust inventory management protocols, monitoring expenditures in real-time, and generating insightful reports that empower management to make data-driven decisions. You will play a critical role in minimizing waste, optimizing vendor relationships, and ensuring our bottom line remains healthy and sustainable.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain rigorous internal control systems for all food and beverage inventory.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies against the POS system.
- Analyze and report on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) variances, providing actionable insights to management.
- Monitor and audit purchasing processes to ensure cost compliance and prevent financial leakage.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to standardize recipes and manage portion control effectively.
- Maintain an accurate database of ingredient costs and vendor price lists.
- Prepare monthly financial performance reports and identify areas for cost optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail and data integrity.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and cost analysis methodologies.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Alfonso, Cavite.
