Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.
- Follow up on overdue receivables via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess customer creditworthiness.
- Prepare aging reports, collection forecasts, and monthly collection metrics for management.
- Collaborate with sales and property teams to resolve billing disputes and adjust credit limits.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities in the ERP system and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures to minimize bad debt.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance collection efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of Philippine credit and collection regulations is a plus.
