This is a full-time, on-site position where you will handle inbound calls, emails, and chats related to medical inquiries, appointment scheduling, billing questions, and general healthcare assistance. Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and chat inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance members.
- Provide accurate information regarding medical services, health plans, claims, and billing.
- Assist with appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and referral coordination.
- Document all interactions in the system with attention to detail and compliance.
- Escalate complex medical or technical issues to the appropriate department.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call quality, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to continuously improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent; college graduates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology or healthcare processes is an advantage.
- Ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Proficiency in computer navigation and typing skills (minimum 25 WPM).
- Strong problem-solving and active listening skills.
- Willingness to work in Makati City on a shifting schedule, including nights and weekends.
- No prior call centre experience? No problem—training is provided. Candidates with at least 6 months of BPO or customer service experience are preferred.
