Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and chat inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance members.
  • Provide accurate information regarding medical services, health plans, claims, and billing.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and referral coordination.
  • Document all interactions in the system with attention to detail and compliance.
  • Escalate complex medical or technical issues to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call quality, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to continuously improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent; college graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology or healthcare processes is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in computer navigation and typing skills (minimum 25 WPM).
