Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact customers via telephone and email regarding outstanding payments.
  • Negotiate realistic payment plans while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Accurately update and maintain customer account records in the CRM system.
  • Handle incoming customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues with professionalism.
  • Identify and escalate complex accounts to management when necessary.
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly recovery targets set by the department.
  • Ensure all interactions comply with internal data protection and privacy standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma holder in any related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in debt collection, customer service, or a call center environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages are a plus).
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic computer navigation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult conversations with composure.
  • Strong integrity and a high level of professional conduct.
