Meinhardt Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design & Sustainability Manager to join our dynamic team in Singapore. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing sustainable design strategies, reviewing technical submissions, and ensuring compliance with local and international green building standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams including architects, engineers, and environmental specialists
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact for design and sustainability matters
- Drive the development and implementation of sustainable design strategies and solutions
- Ensure quality delivery of all project milestones within budget and timeline constraints
- Coordinate with external consultants and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
- Review and evaluate design submissions for compliance with sustainability standards
- Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing across the organization
- Contribute to business development activities and proposal preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Design, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in design management, preferably in consulting environment
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and green building certifications (LEED, BCA Green Mark)
- Proven track record managing complex multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with project management software and design tools
- Professional registration or membership in relevant industry bodies preferred
