Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, play-based Mandarin lessons for preschool children (ages 2–6)
- Integrate language learning with art, music, storytelling, and hands-on activities
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the preschool's curriculum and ECE principles
- Assess and monitor each child’s language progress, providing feedback to parents and team
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to design cross-curricular activities and events
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Mandarin, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with preschool-age children
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin (both spoken and written); fluency in Indonesian or English is a plus
- Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning methodologies
- Excellent communication, patience, and creativity skills
- Certification in early childhood education (e.g., PAUD) or Mandarin teaching (e.g., HSK, CTCSOL) preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment
- Valid work permit for Indonesia (for foreign applicants) or Indonesian citizenship
